Our project brings together a diverse community of business professionals, entrepreneurs, educators, creatives, students and community benefactors. We are a diverse group, consisting of proud Americans, proud children of the Diaspora, and proud children of Africa.
What truly sets the Mia Woezor experience apart is the unique vantage point offered from our unique background. Tours are thoughtfully curated by Ghanaian Americans who have spent decades immersed in Ghana’s vibrant urban centers, traditional villages and breathtaking natural landscapes. This deep familiarity ensures an authentic, enriching experience.
Each program is carefully tailored to honor Ghanaian traditions while seamlessly integrating elements of American lifestyle and values. We achieve this through close collaboration with both native Ghanaians from rural and urban backgrounds and fellow Americans, ensuring that each experience is engaging and meaningful.
Mission Statement
Mia Woezor Africa is an educational heritage travel program whose mission is to provide young people of African descent with direct exposure to the African continent and its communities.
Vision Statement
Our vision is of a living, breathing bond that will sustain an ongoing conversation between continents, allowing for the continuing exchange of ideas, and resulting in the creation of an evolving network that can fuel the growth of new educational, business and social development initiatives.
